Bekezela “Sjure” Siziba is a seasoned percussionist who was born in Bulawayo 36 years ago. He has 20 years of experience in the arts sector. He is one of the founding members of Imvimbi Arts which was started in Entumbane, his home township. His major highlight in career was being part of the word touring Siyaya Arts group which performed all over the world courtest of their production Zambezi Express.
Currently, Sjure is part of globetrotting multi-award-winning ensemble Umkhathi theatre Works, where he plays the percussion for them. He also doubles up as an actor and singer for the ensemble. In his 20 years in the arts, he has performed in South Africa, Zambia, Ivory Coast, France, UK and the USA to mention a few. He has worked with seasoned artistes such as Jeys Marabini, Sandra Ndebele AND Black Umfolosi to mention a few.
